Late model engines with distributorless ignition systems can take advantage of MSD performance with the DIS Ignition Control. This Capacitive Discharge ignition features multi-channel capability complemented with multiple sparks, rev limiters and a timing control. Includes MOSFET technology, IGBT coil Drivers, and a 15 MHz microcontroller for extremely fast compensations and decisions. In the end this creates incredibly accurate spark delivery, rev limiters, and timing functions. This unit also provides more efficient combustion in the cylinders to produce more power. Throttle response and mid range pull are also improved due to a series of powerful multiple sparks that last for 20 degrees of crankshaft rotation.

These modules go between the factory GM ignition module and coil packs. They have color coded wires that connect to the DIS wiring and are molded using Arathane Polyurethane for it's high dilectric strength and connect directly to the factory terminals.

The MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Wire is "the" performance wire.  Engineered from the inside out, the 8.5 offers everything you have ever wanted in a wire; incredibly low resistance without electronic interference! In a single 12 inch length of Super Conductor Wire there is only 40 - 50 ohms of resistance! That is the lowest resistance of any helically wound wire. To accomplish this, we use a copper alloy conductor due to it's great voltage carrying capabilities. The low resistance results in less loss in spark energy so more reaches the spark plug. The conductor is wound extremely tight around a special center core. So tight in fact, that there is over 40 feet of conductor wrapped into a single foot of plug wire. This winding procedure, combined with a ferro-magnetic impregnated center core, produces an extremely effective Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) "choke".

This choke, or suppression capability, keeps the EMI inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics on your vehicle. The outer sleeve that surrounds the conductor assembly is just as impressive. A proprietary blend of silicone and synthetic material produce a sleeve that is highly resistant to high heat as well as abrasion and tears.

The Pro-Clamp will keep the plug wires in a tidy order and away from engine heat sources. Each Separator features secure grooves for each wire and a top bracket snaps into place to sandwich the wires in place. Each base has a hole for a retaining screw if desired and a tab that will help hold it in position.

The MSD Heli-Core Ignition Wires are perfect for passenger cars, tow vehicles and performance cars. The wires are 8mm and can be relied on to deliver all the high voltage your engine needs! Heli-Core wires feature a stainless steel conductor that is wound around a special glass core. The stainless conductor provides a low resistance path for high voltage to flow while keeping Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) to a minimum. By winding the conductor around a special glass inner core, the EMI is suppressed inside the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronic devices on your vehicle.
Heli-Core Wires also prevent a phenomenon known as Inductive crossfire. When two wires are routed close to each other and happen to follow the firing order of the engine, the spark from one wire could be induced into the other wire. This would cause the other cylinder to ignite far advanced and will cause detonation. For example, the firing order of a small block Chevrolet is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Notice that cylinders 5 and 7 are next to each in both the firing order and the in their position in the block. If the spark from the number 5 plug wire is induced into the number 7 wire, a spark will occur in the cylinder causing detonation. Sooner or later engine damage will occur.

MSD's Pro-Boot Guard is designed to protect spark plug boots from excessive heat. The slide-on sleeve features a fiberglass woven inner sleeve which is then coated with a specially compounded silicone rubber. This combination produces a thick sleeve that can withstand extreme temperatures. Slides over most plug boots.

Pro Shield is an insulated sleeve that may be installed on all 7mm and 8mm spark plug and coil wires for added protection against cross-fire and arcing. It also helps reduce damage to spark plug wires from sharp edges. It also prevents wire damage from contact with water, oil, and fuel.

This tough sleeving is made up of a thick glass woven core that resists temperatures up to 1000°F. A silicone rubber coating surrounds the core adding protection against abrasion and heat. The sleeving has a 3/8in inner diameter so it easily slides over most spark plug wires.

Made of silicone rubber with high red oxide content, this tape will protect electrical connections, hoses, spark plug boots and more from extremely high temperatures. The self vulcanizing process automatically begins when the two sides of the tape are put into contact. A catalyst on one side of the tape begins the bonding process as soon as wrapping takes place.
