The JET Underdrive Pulleys add horsepower by reducing the drag placed on the engine to drive the accessories such as the air conditioning, power steering and water pump. Auto Specialities underdrive pulley systems increase engine horsepower by reducing the amount of power required to drive external accessories.  For example, the alternator, power steering, water pump, and air conditioner all rob horsepower from the engine.  By replacing factory sized crank and accessory drive pulleys with a resized pulley, the accessories are slowed, resulting in more horsepower available to drive the rear wheels.  All pulleys are manufactured from billet steel or aluminum, exceeding factory quality.

Installation: Simply remove the belt, then unbolt the factory pulleys. Install the underdrive pulleys in place of the factory pulleys that have been removed. Re-install the factory belt or the appropriate new belt if another size is specified in the instructions. Requires only simple hand tools and takes 45 minutes to an hour.
