Designed to give
your rear axle stability and to help prevent wheel hop, GM incorporates proven
panhard rod technology as standard equipment. However, the factory pieces
flex under hard cornering, still leaving axle hop problems. Granatelli
Motorsports replaces the upper panhard rod with their heavy duty tubular
panhard rod. Tubular steel is stronger and lighter than u-channel stamped
steel and helps eliminate rear wheel hop (even under the most demanding
driving situations). Each system is constructed of 1.25inch diameter .120inch
wall drawn over mandrel steel tubing which is precision welded, and includes
genuine Energy Suspension fluted polyurethane bushings with Zerk fittings.
Includes premium hardware and detailed installation instructions.

when running larger tires. Greatly increases rear's lateral stability.
The high quality FK spherical rod ends provide for "bind-free" handling
performance. The solid connections will increase road noise.
All of our spherical rod ended components come equipped with FK extra high
strength, chrome moly rod ends with TeflonŽ/KevlarŽ self lubricating race.
When shopping around for spherical rod ended components, do not shop on price
alone. The lower grade rod ends (which are much cheaper) will not hold their
tolerances like the FK rod ends we utilize, this will cause substantial
amounts of noise in a short time. We have had to increase our prices, but it
is money very well spent in the long run, these rod ends will last a very long
time. The rod ends supplied on our components are JMX Series (JMX12/JMX12T).

Designed for
1982-02 Camaros and Firebirds, Lakewood Industries offers a new panhard rod
engineered to keep the rear-end centered and aligned under severe cornering
conditions. Manufactured from thick-wall steel tubing to prevent flex and
bending, this rod is also supplied with durable polyurethane bushings and
steel sleeves for added stability. The adjustable feature allows precise
location of the rear-end housing in relation to the chassis, and compensates
for altered ride heights. Finished in an attractive corrosion-resistant black
powder coat and complete with grease fittings for easy lubrication. are
manufactured from heavy gauge square steel tubing and the uppers utilize heavy
gauge steel plate that is boxed formed and welded for additional strength.
Polyurethane bushings replace the soft factory rubber bushings to provide
positive stability. These Lakewood heavy-duty rear suspension control arms are
easily installed in the stock mounting location without any modifications
required, and have a black powder coated finish for attractive appearance and
corrosion resistance. Grease fittings are supplied for ease of lubrication.
