Engineered with optimized low resistance, high turns ratio windings around an M36 high silicone magnetic steel E-core for higher energy and voltage outputs. Results in quicker starts, improved idle quality, crisper throttle response and more high RPM power. Compatible with late model GM computer controlled remote mount HEI systems. Direct bolt-in, plug-in replacement. Can also work with an ACCEL, Mallory, Crane, Holley or MSD capacitive discharge ignition system. This coil combines MSD's Blaster Coil design with the E-core coil efficiency. Each coil has a unique turns ratio plus there is lower primary resistance than the stock coil. This all amounts to a bolt-in replacement coil that produces more output voltage.

Spark plug wires have two main objectives; transfer the spark energy and suppress the Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) that the transfer of spark voltage produces. The MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor Wire meets and exceeds these demands with the lowest resistance available in a helically wound wire, while retaining high EMI suppression capabilities!

The 8.5mm wire has less than 50 ohms resistance per foot through the use of a special copper conductor. This conductor is wrapped very tightly around a ferro-magnetic impregnated cneter core which produces an extremely effective EMI suppression choke. This design ensures that optimum spark energy will reach the spark plugs while EMI noise is held within the wire where it cannot interfere with other electronics in you car.

The Super Conductor wire is truly a high performance wire from the inside out. The outer sleeve is a combination of silicone and synthetic material giving the wire supreme resistance against heat, chemicals and abrasion. Thick boots with 20% more material also help guard against spark arching to ground and special dual crimp terminals grip the conductor and the sleeve of the wire for a solid hold. These sets use factory style boots at the spark plug to ensure a correct fit.

The Pro-Clamp will keep the plug wires in a tidy order and away from engine heat sources. Each Separator features secure grooves for each wire and a top bracket snaps into place to sandwich the wires in place. Each base has a hole for a retaining screw if desired and a tab that will help hold it in position.

MSD 8mm Heli-Core Spark Plug Wires are a great performance wire upgrade. Their unique construction makes them perfect for performance street vehicles. MSD's Pro-Boot Guard is designed to protect spark plug boots from excessive heat. The slide-on sleeve features a fiberglass woven inner sleeve which is then coated with a specially compounded silicone rubber. This combination produces a thick sleeve that can withstand extreme temperatures. Slides over most plug boots.

Pro Shield is an insulated sleeve that may be installed on all 7mm and 8mm spark plug and coil wires for added protection against cross-fire and arcing. It also helps reduce damage to spark plug wires from sharp edges. It also prevents wire damage from contact with water, oil, and fuel.

Made of silicone rubber with high red oxide content, this tape will protect electrical connections, hoses, spark plug boots and more from extremely high temperatures. The self vulcanizing process automatically begins when the two sides of the tape are put into contact. A catalyst on one side of the tape begins the bonding process as soon as wrapping takes place.
